wow looks like you have met very pesimistic people. i think you can do it, it might seem scary to some but people put themselves in these situations all the time and live to tell the tale. just rember if its too windy take in some sail and if it is really rough dont leave port and have a day in the bar untill it clears. works for me every time
glad that there are some real men these days and that we arent all turning soft..
